Job Description

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-time Logistics Intern to join our team. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in the logistics and supply chain management field, specifically within the food and beverage industry. The ideal candidate will assist our logistics team in coordinating shipments, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in coordinating international inbound and outbound shipments to the US.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
- Manage inventory levels and assist in inventory reconciliation.
- Communicate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to coordinate logistics activities.
- Assist in optimizing transportation routes and reducing shipping costs.
- Provide support in resolving logistics-related issues and implementing process improvements.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the logistics team.
- Data entry for Logistics Related Scheduling & Costs.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program, preferably in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Previous experience in logistics or supply chain management is a plus but not required.
